Dear Parents,
The 3rd grade students will be creating and opening a real-life business called “Kiss-A-Grams” in order to learn both of the following economic concepts:
- Earning Money- students will earn funds for an additional field trip in May.
- Donating Money- students will use a portion of the funds to donate to a charitable cause. (Charity to be decided by the students)
The 3rd graders will operate a booth where Kiss-A-Gram notes will be purchased by Caraway students, parents, and teachers. Each note of gratitude is attached to a Hershey’s Kiss (Kiss-A-Gram) and then delivered to specified Caraway student or staff member at the end of each school day.
Third grade classes will begin selling the Kiss-A-Grams the week of February 10. We are asking for parents to donate bags of Hershey’s Kisses (plain chocolate). If you are able to donate, please send your bags of Kisses to school with your child. Each teacher will be collecting them.
